Audyssey Technologies:- Audyssey Technology is a recent technology which is good for making listening environment very smooth, calm and clear. HT-s5200 uses Audyssey 2Eq for Room Acoustic Correction. This technology makes the system ability to set the noise levels according to the speaker distance and doesn’t make any delays or crossovers. This system has an ability to detect the walls, furniture or any other object and helps in non collision of voice. This gives you clear sound. This volume control is done with the help of Audyssey Dynamic Volume control which not only set the volume but also seeks any hikes and shorts of the voice level from the entertainment source you are enjoying.
The Audyssey Dynamic EQ is for professionals because this continuously adjusts frequency response and the surround soundstage loses definition.
4 HDMI output:- you can watch movie thru HT-S5200 at 1080p high resolution. Your room will change into cinema hall and you can enjoy movie at a high great experience. HT-S5200 takes up to four HDMI video inputs from sources such as Blu-ray Disc players, DVD players, gaming consoles, and set-top boxes, and delivers the output to a compatible high-definition display.
You can even connect your iPod with a single cable through which you can send or receive video/audio signals. You can listen or watch your entertainment downloaded on your iPOD via this amplifier.
4 game modes:- this is one of the important feature Onkyo HT-S5200. It provides you 4 gaming modes for gamers. This facility is provided by none other amplifier. You can select from Rock, Sports, Action, or Role Playing Game, as you wish.

I play my 360 and PS3 on it and the sound is crystal clear and deep bass! Can notice all 7.1 channels! Make sure you use the optical sound. Highly recommended for this price range, probably up to the $600 or even $700.”
